Description

Bastinelli Creations knives are often referred to as tactical art.  His designs are functional and very ergonomic in the hand.  The Mako folder was designed in collaboration with Doug Marcaida and Funker Tactical.

The Mako Folder is just as its name implies; a folding version of the PicoloMako. This is a tactically designed folder with a serious amount of utilitarian functionality thrown in. Instead of the traditional hawkbill blade shape, you find a karambit design, this one has an upswept shape with a Frank Bram opening feature machined into the thumb ramp. This protrusion gives you the ability to draw and open the blade in one quick motion and also for pressure point control (think Yawara stick) that also can be utilized as a non-lethal striking device. The 2.6″ blade is made from N690Co stainless steel with a black PVD stonewashed finish. It can only be opened with the jimped protrusion tab as it does not have thumb studs or a flipper. The extremely ergonomic handle is made from milled black G10 with a reversible pocket clip and one-inch diameter pinky ring for maximum security during use. It is manufactured by Fox Knives in Italy, designed in collaboration with Doug Marcaida and Funker Tactical.
