Rustick Knives is a one-man shop run by Jack Stottlemire. Jack served 27 years as a US Marine, Army Paratrooper and Special Operations Soldier retiring as a Sergeant Major at Fort Bragg, NC. He uses military experience along with 14 combat tours to design what works and is practical in a hard use blade. Each blade is handcrafted over a long process by Jack, 100% Combat Veteran made in the U.S.A.
This knife is a model he calls a Ripper with a 4.25″ recurve modified tanto blade of Nitro V steel, cerakoted Black with black and red G-10 handles. I picked this knife up from Jack at the Blade Show a couple years ago for a T/E knife because I love his work. This model came with both a kydex belt sheath and a Harp Leather small of the back sheath. The SOB sheath is perfect when riding a motorcycle or needing to conceal the blade out of the way. I have carried the knife a couple of times in the kydex, but never in the SOB Leather, because it is a right handed model and I am left handed. The blade show very minimal handling mark from being taken in and out of the sheath. Has not cut anything or been sharpened.
This combo model sells for $370.00 from Rustic Knives. Hate to let this one go, but it is time for someone else to enjoy it. This one is priced at $325.0
Blade length is 4.25″, Overall length 9.125″, Blade thickness .195″
